Your Evening Skincare Routine in the Change of Seasons

 

Drier, autumn air can really affect your skin. While the air is cooler and drier, the humidity is usually lower too. As the weather continues to cool, and we are indoors and in front of heaters, our skin will start to dry out and crack. By simply cleansing, toning and moisturising your skin with the right products for your skin and environment, your skin will stay soft, moisturised and silky smooth all through autumn and as the seasons change, into winter as well.

Cleansing and Toning

Using the appropriate cleanser and toner for your skin is essential to ensure you are not further excarbating any existing issues such as dryness or excess oil.

 
 

Oily Skin with Imperfections

If you have oily skin with imperfections cleanse using our Perfecting Foaming Cleanser with Alpine Willowherb, which regulates sebum production but won’t dry your skin. Follow up with our Perfecting Toning Lotion which will leave your skin feeling fresh and ready for your choice of face mask.

Dry and Damaged Skin

If you have dry, thin or sensitive skin, use our Caress Cleansing Milk to remove make-up, cleanse and soothe your skin. Slightly film forming, it also helps maintain a proper skin hydration level and contributes to maintaining skin's elasticity. Follow this with our Caress Toning Lotion which is a mountain water lotion specially created for dry skin.

Overnight Face Masks

Use an overnight sleep mask to deeply moisturise, nourish and refresh your skin.

AQUA PLUS Multi - Moisturising Sleep Mask

This overnight moisturising sleep mask will restore your skin’s water reserves and reinforce the protecting cutaneous barrier, while still allowing the skin to breathe. Use to re-infuse the skin with moisture and restore comfort, particularly if you are suffering from redness, wrinkles or dehydration.

Our specially designed formula is made from mallow flower botanicals and pure mineral water from the Swiss Alps. Highly concentrated in pure Hyaluronic acid of three different molecular weights, it acts as a protective coat to help prevent water loss and to deeply penetrate all layers of the skin to replenish with moisture.

To use:

Cleanse your face with relevant cleansing lotion (see above) as well as an appropriate toning lotion. Then apply a thin layer on your face and neck every night. Leave on to infuse overnight without rinsing and sleep well knowing you are looking after your skin. Follow your usual skin routine in the morning. You can use this every night as part of your regular skincare. It can also be used as a classic rinse-off mask, leaving it to act for 10 to 15 minutes on a clean face and neck. Then gently remove excess.

VITALITY Baby Skin Radiance Sleep Mask

Lack of sleep, stress, pollution, UV or smoking exhaust your skin and while dead cells accumulate, your complexion loses its radiance. Concentrated in Swiss Apricot extract, this gently exfoliating sleep mask, will help remove those dead skin cells and gives an immediate radiant glow to your complexion.

Containing 1.5% micro-encapsulated AHA (glycolic acid), and 0.5% BHA (salicylic acid) for a gentle peeling effect and a better tolerance for demanding and delicate skin, this fruit acid gently gives a new skin, smoothes irregularities and restores skin with a real glow without over-stripping.

To use:

Cleanse face with relevant cleansing lotion (see above) as well as appropriate toning lotion. Then, apply a thin layer on your face (avoiding the eye and lip contour). Leave it to penetrate and infuse overnight and sleep well knowing you are looking after your skin. Ensure you wash off the mask in the morning. When you do so, you will wash away your dead skin cells and your skin will be left feeling softer and smoother. The use of this mask can make your skin more sensitive to UV rays. Use effective protection against the sun during and for one week following use. 

This mask can be used all year round or as a cure at each change of season. It can also be used as a classic rinse off mask. Apply a thick layer on clean face, avoiding the eye and lip contour and leave it to act for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove excess with water or Toning Lotion.

Remember, your wardrobe shouldn’t be the only thing that changes with the seasons., your skin care routine may need to change as well.
