Key ingredients

Two-sided coated wood: grey rough side (150 grit), purple fine side (220 grit)
How to use
  1. Use the MAVALA mini emery board on clean, dry nails.
  2. Hold the board at a slight angle just under the nail, filing with long, light strokes from edge to centre. Alternate filing both sides. This motion ensures nails aren’t weakened.
  3. Avoid over-filing the sides to maintain strength.
  4. Finish with small vertical strokes using the tip to smooth any rough spots and seal nail layers.
Results

Nails are filed into shape.

  • Rough side (grey): Great for thick or hard nails, or for quick pre-filing.
  • Smooth side (purple): Perfect for thin and delicate nails, leaving a neat and smooth finish after filing with the rough side.
