Filing is an essential step in achieving a flawless manicure. Using the wrong emery board or filing too aggressively can damage your nails, causing them to become brittle or split. Key ingredients

Two-sided coated wood: grey rough side (150 grit), purple fine side (220 grit)
How to use
  1. Use the MAVALA emery board on clean, dry nails.
  2. Hold the board at a slight angle just under the nail, filing with long, light strokes from the edge to the centre. File one side, then the other. This ensures you don't weaken the nail.
  3. Avoid over-filing the sides to keep your nails strong.
  4. Finish by using small vertical strokes with the tip of the emery board, moving from bottom to top and top to bottom, to smooth out any rough spots and seal the nail layers.

Good to know: Avoid using metal, glass, or ceramic emery boards as they can damage your nails, leading to splits and shorter-lasting manicures. MAVALA's wooden emery boards are gentle yet effective, helping your manicure stay looking great for longer!
