Go for bold and bright nails this season… and keep the trend going with a bold new hair colour. What are the do’s and don’ts you need to know?
DO
Get inspired with bright, bold new summer nail shades – it’s a low-commitment way to jump on the brights trend for summer, and an instant way to update your whole look. Blues, vibrant lipgloss shades, and the chrome-look are leading the way this season – and Mavala’s new Color Block collection has gorgeous shades to choose from. DON’T
Flood your cuticle with nail colour, especially when it’s a bold or bright colour – be like a pro and get the colour on your nail in three neat swipes of the polish brush. To easily correct any mistake, use our Correcteur Pen.
DO
Have neat and nourished cuticles. Smooth skin around your nails enhances your nail polish colour and finish. Moisturise cuticles each evening with Mavala Cuticle Oil which is rich in sunflower oil, sweet almond oil, and olive oil.
DON’T
Leave the nail polish on your nails if it chips or you break a nail. It’s so quick to whisk off the polish from just one nail (use Mavala Blue Nail Polish Remover) or remove from all nails and repaint.
DO
Always use a base and top coat to give your manicure a professional finish and make the bold colour look glossy and last longer. Find the perfect base coat to suit your nail condition here, and finish with Mavala Colorfix or Gel Finish Top Coat which replicates the look of a gel manicure and super glossy shine, but can be removed with acetone-free nail polish remover.
BOLD RED HAIR COLOUR TREND
